Life feels better with Dropbox behind me

I don't know how, but yesterday I must have accidentally removed most of my files.

I use Dropbox, and while I was busy on the internet, I noticed Dropbox going mad with activity.  Before I could stop it, close to 60,000 filesbusiness and personal—were apparently missing from my machine.

I rattled of a hasty "haaaylp!" to Dropbox's customer support, but, upon looking more closely, it seemed that all my missing files were in my system's Trash folder.  So I started recovering the files from there.  I still have no idea how a selection of important files came to be trashed, but all the evidence points to me having accidentally triggered something.
Anyhow, I heard back from Evan G at Dropbox within about an hour of my original request. He was able to offer a roll-back of my files to any point, if I wasn't able to successfully recover the files myself. He also took a look at the software I was using and recommended an upgrade, to be on the safe side.

All in all, my files have never felt so safe.

By George! by Elvis Mcgonagall

Once more unto the breach, dear Morris Dancers
    once more
Jingle your bells, thwack sticks, raise flagons
Cry “God for Harry and Saint George!”
Gallant knight and slayer of dragons
Patron saint of merry England –
And Georgia, and Catalonia, and Portugal, Beirut, Moscow
Istanbul, Germany, Greece
Archers, farmers, boy scouts, butchers and sufferers of
   syphilis
Multicultural icon with sword and codpiece
On, on you bullet-headed saxon sons
Fly flags from white van and cab
But remember stout yeomen, your champion was Turkish
So – get drunk and have a kebab
